SEASONAL HOME MANAGEMENT:   We can help you with your summer home or cottage. Call us in the spring, tell us when you want it ready, and we will take care of the rest. We will provide a complete spring cleaning from floor to ceiling including windows, draperies, and linen’s. We will prepare the water system, clean the grounds, and make your seasonal home ready for you to walk in and enjoy. In the Fall we will be back to prepare your home for the winter. We will provide the winterization services to the water system, a complete fall interior cleaning, and prepare to protect any landscaping for the winter months. Throughout the winter months a representative of Great Lakes will make a weekly inspection of your property, and we will provide you a written inspection report once per month through out the winter.  If your seasonal home has an electronic alarm system... we can be the local contact person for response, again making your ownership of a seasonal home more enjoyable and easy to you.  

LAND DEVELOPMENT CONSULTATION

Great Lakes Realty has been involved with project development in various communities through out Northern New York. We can assist in site use, site planning, project estimating, and we have extensive experience in the Right- To- Build permit process.

We have been the contracted representative of many different landowners in the municipal review process to appear and make presentations to village, town, city boards as well as various planning boards. We clearly understand the process, we also understand the NYS SQER process and its associated filing requirements. We have experience in working with and the interacting with NYS Department of Health, NYS Department of Environmental Conservation's, U.S.Army Core of Engineers, and the NYS office of the State Historic Preservation Office.

Over the past 14 years Great Lakes Realty has been the author of several successful grant applications. We have written and been awarded over 1.2 million dollars in successful grant applications with agencies such as NYS Department of Transportation, NYS Environmental Facilities Corp, and Empire State Economic Development Corp and the NYS Department of Conservation.
